Upon arrival, I found the hotel's location to be quite remote. it's situated far from Berlin with no nearby attractions in sight. I was disappointed by the lack of airport shuttles, which forced me to rely on a costly taxi ride that took 20 minutes. To make matters worse, the restaurant menu was overly complicated, leading to unexpected charges and confusion regarding the prices.

The stay was quite pleasant, especially the impressive spa facilities. I really appreciated the big swimming pool and the option to reserve the sauna for private use. Although there wasn't a café in the room, the breakfast offered a diverse selection that was a lovely way to start the day.

i enjoyed my stay at van der valk hotel during a family holiday. the breakfast had a great variety, and the service was impeccable. the spa facilities, especially the pool, exceeded my expectations from my previous visit to the city.

the hotel is super comfy and big but still feels cozy! we had a balcony which was a nice touch. the restaurant has amazing food and breakfast. The staff are really friendly and professional. also, loved that the car park is big and has charging stations for e-cars! oh, and it’s dog friendly too!
